Review: (#1, C) While this does express the core figure and feeds into the minds of those who fare familiar with him. It is, though, very dull and uninspired. It’s not going to bring in viewers.
Trailer Rating: B / B-

Review: (#1, B) It’s not clear whether Timothรฉe Chalamet is doing his own singing here but the brief moment when he speaks in a similar cadence gives one hope. Unfortunately, the film doesn’t look nearly as appealing as it should. There is some artistic embellishment that might be compelling if the film maintains that vision.
(#2, B-) We get more of Bob Dylan’s music and lots more of Chalamet’s performance but the biopic structure seems exaggerated and that makes the whole thing feel a bit derivative.
Oscar Prospects:
James Mangold and Timothรฉe Chalamet working on a project about a young Bob Dylan. It screams Oscar.
