Review: (#1, C) Keeping the dull background minimal helps pull the eye to the central figure, which is the sponge that will sell the film with an obvious hint to the film’s setting. (#2, C) This one is similar to the prior but does poorly at telling the viewer which character is featured, though the furry chin and the acorn emblem give some clue. (#3, C+) There’s action, there’s humor, and there’s character. However, the titling is dull and the background is lifeless.

Review: (#1, C-) If you are a SpongeBob SquarePants fan, this mixed-media film will likely be right up your alley. For everyone else, the eye-rollingly bad humor just isn’t appealing.
