Review: (#1, C) Whether or not you get that this is a prison-set drama doesn’t seem to be important as this design feels like it has no target demographic and barely references the film itself. The open empty space being at the bottom instead of the top is a nice inversion to most designs but that doesn’t make it an appealing effort.

Review: (#1, B-) Arts in prisons can often be a lifeline for prisoners who fell into bad situations but who need a hand in getting a leg up for their release. This trailer exemplifies that notion well and presents a compelling performance from Colman Domingo. While it still feels a bit formulaic, it also feels refreshing.

Oscar Prospects:

Colman Domingo could be on his way to another Oscar nomination.
