Review: (#1, C+) While it does speak to the big ego of its title character, it’s such a familiar and overused trope that it feels disappointing.
(#2, B) The design itself isn’t that interesting but once you notice the blood dripping from the bracelet, it takes on a different feel altogether and it almost works.
(#3, C+) A tongue-in-cheek reference to Hollywood and the Walk of Fame with a small hint of the bloodletting to come. It might appeal to some but not many.
Trailer Rating: B / B / B-

Review: (#1, B) A solid teaser that takes audiences into the 1980s for the third in a series of cult favorite horror films. The use of the song “Obsession” is a brilliant bit of programming and even for those who are only slightly familiar with the other two films in the series, this will seem intriguing.
(#2, B) While the end result is the same as the first trailer, this second takes us a slightly different direction, revealing more of the film’s plot, but not giving away any of the twists. It certainly looks more intriguing than the prior films in the series.
(#3, B-) This haphazard trailer doesn’t succeed at selling the film very well, relying on familiarity with the character to generate interest in the viewer. There are some interesting elements here, unique items that audiences might be compelled by but it doesn’t completely work.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
