Review: (#1, C) The empty desert is a stark background but one that doesn’t suit a movie poster well. The eye is drawn to the figure walking in the sand but it tells the viewer absolutely nothing without them seeing the film and that won’t get them to the theaters.

(#2, B-) The floating woman in green is a fascinating image and it creates a magical quality that may appeal to some. That there’s nothing much in the background makes it a bit weak.

Review: (#1, C) The trailer feels a bit chaotic while trying to establish the purpose and journey of the main character but it never feels organic or compelling and the viewer certainly gets little about the film’s general premise.

Oscar Prospects:

It was nominated at the Oscars for Best International Feature, but won’t likely win.
