Review: (#1, C) It doesn’t quite set the location well, probably because the locale didn’t have a lot of notable landmarks at the time but it does tell the viewer a little about the film and its subject but perhaps only if they know who Cabrini herself is. (#2, C+) While this has a lot more symbolic relevance than the prior design, it relies entirely on familiarity with the subject and an understanding of what she did to stand up to the massive patriarchal Vatican.
Trailer Rating: C+

Review: There might be some intrigue to this story but it’s drained out of the trailer after moments stuck in the middle of it, trying to give too much information to the viewer about who Cabrini is and what her importance was. If you already know her history then it might entice you but for everyone else, the excessive religious symbolism might convince them it’s a religious horror flick, not a biopic.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
