Review: (#1, C+) The reference to Five Nights at Freddy’s is appropriate as the design is somewhat reminiscent of that film’s posters. That means there’s less inventiveness on display and the lack of background details doesn’t make it look more appealing.
(#2, C+) While the effort itself isn’t terribly strong with the large amounts of vacant space, the concept of a child drawing a portal on the wall is an interesting one and allows the poster to have some thematic relevance.
Trailer Rating: B- / C

Review: (#1, B-) The concept, while not necessarily original, is presented somewhat effectively, creating the narrative threads that could pull a viewer into something that looks like it might be a bit shoddy.
(#2, C) While the first trailer created some genuine suspense, this second effort looks like every other evil toy, demonic house, paranormal presence movie ever made and that’s not likely to draw viewers.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
