With a dearth of competition, even a meager Disney debut for The Marvel should still top the box office.

The Marvels
Wesley Lovell: I like Captain Marvel more than most and I’ve loved Brie Larson since Short Term 12. I also enjoyed Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau in Wanda/Vision. So, I’m all for this long overdue sequel.
Peter J. Patrick: Enough is enough.
Thomas La Tourrette: It looks to be a decent superhero film with enough twists to make it worthwhile, though perhaps not the best from Marvel.

The Limited Slate
Wesley Lovell: I think It’s a Wonderful Knife looks both passรฉ and original and I think I’m ready for it. The rest aren’t terribly intriguing.
Peter J. Patrick: Only Dream Scenario looks like a halfway decent film.
Thomas La Tourrette: The only one off these that looks interesting to me is Dream Scenario, and I am not totally sure about that one.
