Looking at the Weekend: Jan. 13-15, 2023

While he’s not a huge box office star, Gerard Butler sometimes does just enough to get audiences to the theater. While Plane faces off against Christian horror film The Devil Conspiracy, comedy remake House Party, and the expansion of Tom Hanks’ A Man Called Otto, it has the best chances of coming out on top.

Patrick (PP): Gimmicky film from seven directors doesn’t seem to come together in trailer. Thomas LaTourette (TL): Gillian Jacobs is a good actress but the trailer does not really show what the movie is about and having eight directors sounds like a conceptual idea that will produce a bad film.
