Review: I generally like two of the three stars involved. Renee Zellweger has always struck me as a very artificial actress and the perpetually pouty lips are a turn off. However, this film looks at least moderately entertaining if only from the comic perspective. The prospect of another sports film, familiar territory for Zellweger, isn’t a positive one.

Oscar Prospects:

It was pushed from 2007 to 2008 which means it’s probably not up to the quality standards of an Oscar contender. And it isn’t like it has a year-end release like Jerry Maguire did.
