Poster Rating: A-; B

Review: Superimposing the globe on a droplet of water is a clever touch to a poster that quickly and simply puts the chips on the table regarding the film’s important subject.

While I’ll give them credit for the cleverness of the locked-up water faucet, it still pales in comparison to the first trailer I saw for the film and there is little chance anything else will be as good.

Trailer Rating: A-

Review: A most interesting documentary about the de-aquification of the earth by mega corporations interested in turning a profit off one of the planet’s most important resources. The trailer does quite well in making a point that it is an important work that requires viewing.

Oscar Prospects:

This could be the spoiler of the year. It’s political, but in a way that An Inconvenient Truth was. It’s about our environment and what is being done to it and what needs to be done about it. It may speak to conscience-heavy Academy members and prove a success.
