Review: They keep on making them. The “heartwarming” story about love set against the backdrop of parental issues does seem the perfect subject for a poster like this, but separating film scenes and character shots with the title is entirely bland.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: It’s nice to see Alan Alda being put into an Oscar bait roll, but the trailer doesn’t make the movie seem like much more than a quick-to-dvd turnaround.

Oscar Prospects:

It’s clear they want to push Alan Alda for a Supporting Actor Oscar nomination like they did Alan Arkin in Little Miss Sunshine, but I’m betting this attempt will only end in failure (and the release date pretty much confirms that).
