Review: At least this first poster is a bit more detailed and interesting. While neither is that good, the second poster is undoubtedly worse, relying more on the title and the production company to sell the film than any content within the film.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: While parts of the film look fun, there is an awful lot of Disney tradition herein and much of it still feels quite old even if we haven’t seen much from them in recent years. This was the first film John Lasseter re-tooled after the Pixar-Disney merger, so it’s possible the film could have been saved, but what’s present in the trailer doesn’t give me much hope.

Oscar Prospects:

Unless it’s on par with Pixar’s insta-classic of the year, Wall-E, I don’t think the mouse house will pick up another of the three spots in the Best Animated Feature lineup.
