Review: Only briefly touched on in the trailer, this image is supposedly one that reveals that Mary Magdalene was pregnant. I don’t see that, but I hope that will be sufficiently explained in the film.

Trailer Rating: B+

Review: Conceptually, this documentary is quite interesting. Though, after The Da Vinci Code proposed most of these same ideas, it’s hard to take the film seriously. As a documentary, this could be revelatory; however, that certainty remains to be seen. If they had found something, we almost certainly would have heard about it in the news.

Oscar Prospects:

I’ve been saying for months that controversy helps documentaries make a splash in the category. However, this film seems a little too controversial or at least too similar to Da Vinci Code to be taken too seriously.
