Two of the year’s numerous black-and-white films made the list as did three expected color features. Belfast was the title I was least sure would be included, but the film managed to eke out a nomination over popular Janusz Kaminski for West Side Story. Cyrano, The Green Knight, Licorice Pizza, and Passing were most injured by these selections.
