Review: Requisite props and figures are present. Color design is there, but hazy. The end result is something that’s not nearly as interesting as it wants to be.

Review: (#1) The Beatles pioneered musicians making movies about themselves and David Bowie did a bit of it successfully as well, but that hasn’t happened a lot in recent years, especially not fiction-based ones, but Foo Fighters are trying and the end result looks more hokey than scary.
(#2) For a schlocky band-produced horror comedy, it has some interesting moments, but for the most part, there’s just not enough their for non-Foo Fighters fans to latch onto with interest.
(#3) The language and violence are dialed up to 11 in this Red Band trailer and that’s the only thing that’s really helping this film look like more than a cheesy horror picture.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
