Review: (#1) The off-center central image is an interesting choice, but it doesn’t make up for the depressing image at its center. (#2) The segmented panels do little to improve the general impression of the film being a depressing one. That’s one of the reasons it won’t likely appeal to many.

Review: Trying to find a way to sell a film about coping with loss requires a soft hand, not a blunt brush. Yet, the blunt brush here is softly applied, which doesn’t add anything of value to make it looks more than tangentially interesting.
Oscar Prospects:
Submitted for consideration for Best International Feature. It wouldn’t be a surprising selection.
