Before Vancouver announces their international selections, they’ve given us their best Canadian opinions on films made and released in Canada. Surprisingly, Chained picks up the most nominations while failing to earn a Best Canadian Film nomination. Second-place Possessor does, however, which might suggest that the film is setting itself up to rack up several wins, especially considering it’s one of the better known Canadian releases this year.
