Review: (#1) It’s almost mind-numbing in its psychedelicness; however, it’s not very appealing. (#2) There’s a lot of detail and fans of the show will get the main sight gag, but it’s just not that appealing. (#3) From a different perspective, this design isn’t terribly far removed from its predecessor. (#4) It tells you what the film is about without having to sell the film to a non-fan-based audience.
(#5) A design for the Chinese New Year is a dull affair with no interesting background and bubble coins that just feel bland. (#6) Not much better, but not much worse, this design has some depth to it, but the background is still empty and the characters are still uninspired.
Trailer Rating: C- / C-

Review: (#1) If you’re a fan of SpongeBob and his cadre of underwater friends, then you’re already sold on this film. For everyone else, the idiocy on display is off-putting and unimpressive.
(#2) If the show was something you enjoyed, this trailer wasn’t necessary to sell you on the film. For everyone else, the inanity and cheap humor don’t make it any more enticing.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
