Synopsis:

Review: (#1) This design is attempting to tell the audience that the woman in the window has seen something intense; however, the reflection element of the design feels awkward and forced.

(#2) It’s an interesting blend and almost works, but it ultimately feels a bit too vanilla. (#3) A bland, featureless design that might fit modestly well into the theme of the film, it is generic enough to feel pointless.

Review: (#1) In spite of a slow start and dull pacing, this trailer does a satisfactory job setting up the film’s premise and enticing the audience with its potential.

(#2) With the first trailer done more than a year ago, the producers seem to have pulled it and replaced it with a better trailer. The tension is set high, you understand what’s going on, and the mystery looks deep and compelling, even if it looks a bit like Hitchcock’s Rear Window.

Oscar Prospects:

When it was scheduled to release last year, Amy Adams was thought to be a major contender, but it was pushed to May and the trailer doesn’t make it look like there’s enough here to be an Oscar contender.
