Review: (#1) Several locations and characters thrown together in a hodge podge scene that should look more appealing and authentic being an animated film. (#2) The characters here look cheesy and ill-suited for mass entertainment while the background looks cheap. (#3) Everyone is waiting in line for something, but there’s no obvious answer, making the line-up look silly. The blank white background doesn’t help matters any. (#4-#6) These four character posters are rather uninspired with the same background yet different uninteresting poses.
(#8) A continuation of the prior 5 “character” posters that just don’t have a lot going for them.
Trailer Rating: C

Review: Animated films based on toy products are seldom successful. Every IP (intellectual property) out there seems intent on building their brand into a successful film, but not everyone can be Lego and certainly not Playmobil whose toys are familiar to a lot of older viewers, but not to the younger audiences they are trying to target. This is an advertising ploy that will go hilariously (or not) wrong.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
