Review: (#1) There’s not a lot to this, which hinders its creative energy; however, the use of color and the pose of the central figure make it feel strong and courageous.
(#2) Nice colors, but cheap layout. (#3) Trying to do for Harriet what Lin-Manuel Miranda did for Alexander Hamilton, except not very well. (#4) More nice colors, but the same cheap layout as design #2.
Trailer Rating: B+

Review: There’s a conventional throughline to this trailer that makes it feel very familiar, yet it also feels incredibly important and potentially uplifting with a strong central performance from Cynthia Erivo.
Oscar Prospects:
This will be one of the biggest Oscar contenders of the year.
