Review: (#1 & #2) The new Charlie’s Angels symbol, which looks somewhat like a diamond, but not exceptionally so, is used dominantly in both designs. The first lacks has character, but lack visual flair while the second has visual flair, but lacks character.

(#3) There’s a lot of wasted space here, but the attempt to fit it all into the V-shaped design is worth of salute with most of the details being at least vaguely interesting. (#4) There’s nothing like a lot of blank space that may highlight the stars but which is visually boring. (#5) Similar to the prior design, this one at least tries to create a detailed background for the viewer to peruse while bored. It’s all so poorly put together though, it’s barely worth the effort.

(#6) A hand-drawn piece that looks more appropriate for a porn video cover than a major studio release. (#7-#10) These character posters use a similar color scheme with different backgrounds, some of which work and some don’t. The central foreground images also feel out of place. (#11) This design doesn’t make a lot of sense. This film isn’t about Patrick Stewart and while his figure is smaller and less pronounced than the others, he’s a central image on the design, which makes it seem like these ladies are fighting over him, not for him.

Review: (#1) This is a satisfying set up for the second big screen incarnation of Charlie’s Angels. The action looks modestly interesting, the characters broadly drawn, and the overall look of the film modestly appealing.

(#2) All the excitement and intrigue of the first trailer is largely absent from this second, which has a few exciting elements, but struggles to find a tone or pace that’s worthy of excitement.
