Review: (#1) There’s far too much vacant space here to be interesting and what’s left isn’t that interesting either.
(#2) A lot of wasted space here makes for an uninteresting design. (#3) No wasted space here except the entirety of the design, filled to the walls with mediocrity.
(#4) A colorful vista that isn’t terribly colorful won’t sell an IMAX release that well, which is surprising considering the vibrancy of an IMAX projection. (#5) The off-kilter tilt of the design keeps it from barely feeling overused. That said, it might appeal to car fans, but few others will be enticed by this poster.
Trailer Rating: B / B-

Review: (#1) There are some compelling elements in this trailer, most notably the promise of strong acting, but the film does have an inevitability to it that is a shade troublesome.
(#2) A little more excitement than the prior trailer, but none of it enhances the purpose or expected enticement that a trailer is supposed to provide.
Oscar Prospects:
The film has a pedigree that would put it into Oscar contention, but the film will have a long hill to climb. The November release, and a strong response from critics, might boost it into the Oscar race.
