Review: (#1) Aliens beaming up our protagonists is an interesting representation of the film’s premise, though perhaps a bit inaccurate. (#2) Less accurate than the predecessor, but also lacking in the interesting details that made it something to observe.
(#3) There are a lot of details here, though they are spread out across the design, which gives a bit too much irregular spacing to the design.
(#4) Lots of white space and weird poses and expressions. It’s just not terribly exciting. (#5) This attempt to create a Christmas theme doesn’t quite work since it makes no reference to the holiday.
Trailer Rating: B / B-

Review: (#1) If you’re a fan of Shaun the sheep, this should immediately entice you. Fans of Aardman animation will see some elements that are interesting, but also some that isn’t.
(#2) The humor feels strangely dialed back in this second trailer, but the overall thrust of the film and the magic of Aardman animation is still on full display.
Oscar Prospects:
It may end up as a Best Animated Feature nominee, but there’s a lot of potential competition this year that might keep it out of the running.
