Review: (#1) I hate the use of white backgrounds. It’s lazy. There’s a lot of detail here though and the villain peaking out from behind the “2” is a surprisingly strong component. (#2-#6) This series of character posters isn’t terribly unique, especially not compared to each other, but they aren’t horrendous representations either.
(#7-#9) These were just a continuation of the prior character posters.
(#10) It isn’t necessarily cuddly, but it’s not meant to be. The same backdrop used in the other designs is still in use here and it’s not much of an improvement. (#11) Stacked such that they might fall if one of them hit the others, it’s a fitting design for the game-turned-movie.
(#12-#16) Another mediocre series of character posters identifying each grouping as frenemies, which isn’t sufficiently distinctive. (#17) Modestly more compelling than most of what came before it, but still lacking on rich details.
Trailer Rating: C+ / B- / C+

Review: (#1) There seems to be a trend in animation trailers lately where the protagonist or antagonist spends several scenes trying to either look normal or looking for a way to excuse their villainy, then everyone else shows up and no one knows why anything is happening.
(#2) There are some loosely humorous moments, but the entirety of the trailer just felt perfunctory at best.
(#3) The film looks more and more interesting with each trailer even if the overall quality of the trailers don’t necessarily improve.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
