Review: While I’m not a fan of poster designs that have a lot of blank space, much of that can be attributed to either a solid white background, a lack of compelling foreground, or a centered core image. This design avoids almost all of that. The background is a nice rosy pink color, that’s neither solid, nor dull. The image is off-center, giving the film a sense of imbalance and thus drama. The part where the design doesn’t quite succeed is that the primary image isn’t terribly compelling. It’s interesting, but seemingly pointless.

Review: When trailers present an interesting story as something very commonplace, you get a something like this. What appears to be a family drama with lots of potential, feels like a by-the-numbers indie family drama without much potential.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
