Review: (#1 & #2) the first posters are identical except for the colors and this is one of the rare instances where the white background looks better than the alternate color one. (#3) The grainy nature of the poster design adds a small amount of depth, but what sets this apart from the others for the film is that it has a much more creative use of the flamingo from the book at the center of the drama. (#4) The off-white background is the distraction this time, but the flamingo as shadow is an interesting concept even if it is a bit cheesy.
Trailer Rating: B-

Review: The trailer’s odd, but not necessarily in a great way. The premise is laid out fairly well, but the setup makes it feel cheap. The concept is interesting and might suggest a better film underneath even if the trailer doesn’t do the best job conveying it.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
