Review: (#1) Too subtle and too vacant. (#2) I’d say it’s corny, but carroty might be a more apt description. (#3) You can probably make a leap of logic to figure out what the carrots in the walls represent, but the poster doesn’t do an adequate job spelling that out. The tagline is boring as is the background.

(#4) Lots of rabbits and other animals, an angry gardener, and a fake generic landscape don’t really give the audience a good sense of the film, unless they are under the age of 10.

Trailer Rating: B / B

Review: (#1) Ending on a humorous note is often the best way to sell a kids-targeted movie. This looks fairly juvenile in places, but also a decent amount of fun without delving into the key plot components. (#2) When trailers finally dig into those key plot elements, this is the way to present them without abandoning the free-wheeling sentiment of the prior designs. There’s even more humor, especially at the end, and that can do nothing but help.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
