Normally, screener season is a bit more of a trickle, but the deluge this year has made the waning days less enjoyable. Sometimes it’s cool to get a new gift every day. Anyway, here’s the latest addition to my collection.

FOUR LIONS

Genre: Comedy
Stars: Riz Ahmed, Arsher Ali, Nigel Lindsay, Kayvan Novak, Adeel Akhtar
Director: Christopher Morris
Premise: Four Lions tells the story of a group of British jihadists who push their abstract dreams of glory to the breaking point.
Oscar Chances: Unlikely: While critics seem to like it, the film was barely a blip at the box office and it isn’t likely to gain much traction at the year-end critics awards.
