Rating: C Commentary: It carries forward the glitching theme of the trailer, but not in such a way that will make enough sense to the audience. |
Rating: B+ Commentary: The construction of the trailer paint a picture of a fascinating heist film with appealing actors and stylish design elements. This is the Danny Boyle a lot of us grew to love after Trainspotting, not the cheap Oscar-baity sell-out of Slumdog Millionaire. I also love the brief appearance of the title of another of his films: 28 Days Later. |

Oscar Chances: The Oscars never really cared much for Boyle before Slumdog, so it’s possible they will give this film the time of day; however, being a thriller, the Academy may once again turn a blind eye to him. |
