Trailer

Rating: B-
Commentary: Sometimes the most innocuous poster with the most simple design works the best. It’s cute and eye-catching and anyone who’s seen the trailer will appreciate it more.
Rating: B
Commentary: Dr. Seuss has been dead for many years, but not before he created this anti-technology sci-fi piece about the dangers of eliminating nature from our daily lives. Apart from the environmentalist bent to the film, it looks to have all the earmarks of a popular children’s film with plenty to please adults as well. The music selection is particularly engaging and I have seen this in both 2D and 3D and I can’t say there’s any reason to see it in 3D at this point.

Oscar Chances: An 85th Oscars Animated Feature contender for certain.
