Rating: B Commentary: Perhaps a bit too indistinct, it does capture the essence of the film with little effort. It’s not that funny, which might hurt its chances, but with a tagline and a title that are amusing, it could be sufficient. |
Rating: A- Commentary: I’m not a big Steve Carell fan. His broad style of humor isn’t appealing to me. However, this trailer, which tones down his more effervescent impassive face in favor of more situational humor and soft delivery, looks like it might just be a surprise hit or at least one that appeals to others besides Carell’s normal fans. |
