Precursor: 77th Golden Globe Nominations (2019)

With the Golden Globe nominations this morning, some campaigns received a shot in the arm while others took a dive. Marriage Story surprisingly topped the nominations with key entries in nearly every category except Best Director, which isn’t the best sign. Irishman and Once Upon a Time also did well with Two Popes and Parasite benefiting greatly. Annette Bening’s chances at an Oscar nomination just improved while Adam Sandler’s took a hit.
