There weren’t a lot of surprises from the Cinema Audio Society with its selections mirroring a lot of conventional wisdom. The lone exception to that is the massive production of Mary Poppins Returns, which I had thought was a shoe-in here. Instead, the late-breaking support for Bohemian Rhapsody appears to have pushed it ahead of that film. This does hinder the chances of the likes of Annihilation, Avengers: Infinity War, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Ready Player One, and Solo: A Star Wars Story, though.
