It was a good night for the Weinstein Company as it took home three awards for Silver Linings Playbook including a sweep of Picture, Director, Actor and Actress along with a surprise Editing win. The victory may be sweet, but the high will be short-lived. The Satellite Awards are one of the poorest Oscar predictors out there, but it will no doubt dominate the conversation for some time. Anne Hathaway continues her streak while the film picks up two other awards while Ang Lee’s Life of Pi picks up a pair of its own.
