The only new wide release is a film starring Jim Caviezel that has no trailer available from legitimate, longtime sources. That lack of advertising suggests a film targeted at a very narrow audience and with few chances at major success. Tenet, The New Mutants, The Broken Hearts Gallery, and Unhinged are likely to continue persistent theatrical play.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Your garden variety stalker horror film that has very little appealing about it.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Unappealing stalker film does nothing for me.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): This looks neither that pleasant or new, so I will pass on it.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): This looks to be a drab, uninteresting art house feature.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Sappy looking heist film being pitched as a comedy.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): Some of the early reviewers really like the film, but a tepid, unfunny trailer certainly does not sell me on the film.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Having been pushed back at least once so far, the trailer doesn’t do much to make it feel important or interesting.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Strong cast could be this melodrama’s saving grace.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): The reviews like the actors and the intimate drama, but I felt like I was seeing a trailer for a different movie that was trying to be a more intense film. Even so, it felt sort of lifeless.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Escape rooms fascinate me and although this feels like a cross between Escape Room and Hostel, the latter I enjoyed, so it’s remotely possible I might like this one.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): It’s not exactly a good time to be seeking out a film centered in Moscow.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): A horror film done as a VLOG, it seems unpleasant and not my style.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): The trailer makes this all look a touch exploitative, which isn’t a good sign.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): It may be well acted, but this is a story we’ve seen many times before.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): This definitely has possibilities as a woman kidnaps the man she believes raped her in the war, and then has to convince her husband to go along with her.
