After several weeks of meager offerings, we get no less than four wide releases, with one of them clearly the frontrunner for topping the box office chart. The Lego Movie 2 is the follow-up to the incredibly popular The Lego Movie, which opened five years ago to the tune of $69 million. It went on to make $257 million. It has since gained in popularity and should have no problem pulling in more than that topping all other releases.

Wesley Lovell (WL): The concept isn’t new and the movie doesn’t look particularly fresh, but it’s not part of any of the current horror franchises, so it might not be too bad. |

Wesley Lovell (WL): Humorless trailer for a film that looks like an indie comedy that couldn’t get picked up by a solid indie studio. |
