Will Avengers: Endgame top Avengers: Infinity War‘s $257 million to earn the top all-time opening? The length might be prohibited, but it’s the end of an era, so it may well do it in spite of that fact.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Been with the franchise this long, gotta finish it out even if the next arc doesn’t sound as enticing after all this one has put us through.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): This finale to the Avengers series of the past decade may be technically impressive, but holds no interet for me.
Thomas La Tourrette (TL): Somehow I doubt that they are going to kill off half the franchise, so there must be some way to reverse what Thanos did. I am interested to see how they do this, but would then like a break from superhero movies.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): It might be interesting to see this story told, but will it be adequate?
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Looks like a solid, if not necessarily involving look back at Nureyev’s 1961 defection from Soviet Russia.
Thomas La Tourrette (TL): The trailer did not make a great case for the movie, but the story of the great dancer Nureyev and his defection from the USSR should be exciting.
