Review: (#1) Nice colors with some amount of depth, but still feeling a bit cheap. (#2) Blending traditional art styles with the computer animated doesn’t ultimately come off very well. (#3) There’s some background detail here, but it isn’t exciting, nor is the foreground image. (#4) A darker version of the background in design 3, but without adding much of merit or value.

Review: There’s not a lot here that we haven’t seen countless times in animated features and while the humor is muted, the animation is solid and that will likely draw a decent audience.

Oscar Prospects:

Netflix is on a hot streak with nominations for Best Animated Feature, so this one has to be seen as a contender.
