Synopsis:
From IMDb: “A quiet drifter is tricked into a janitorial job at the now condemned Wally’s Wonderland. The mundane tasks suddenly become an all-out fight for survival against wave after wave of demonic animatronics. Fists fly, kicks land, titans clash — and only one side will make it out alive.”

Review: It’s got all the creepy elements we would e4xpect and a few nice touches in the foreground, but it all feels too staged.

Review: The creepification of kid-friendly restaurants of our past (Chuck E. Cheese’s, Show Biz Pizza, etc.) has carved out an underground niche with Five Nights at Freddy’s being wildly popular with children, but this is not the natural evolution. While this looks very creepy, it also looks very violent and that’s not a good combination if kids are expecting a deviation from their favorite video game. That said, it could earn a cult reputation if well done, though the trailer doesn’t quite suggest it will be.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
