Review: There’s a beauty to the design that almost overcomes its simplicity. The particle effects simply don’t strike the viewer as anything but oppressive. The inference of memory is the most elegant element in the design.

Review: (#1) Any movie with Helen Mirren is instantly improved. The film itself looks less wholesome than Wonder did, shifting into hope-adjacent Holocaust survival narrative. It seems a bit heavy for a series that’s more popularity-driven. Still, it’s relatively effective at setting up the narrative and conveying that to an unfamiliar viewer, which might bolster their interest.

(#2) Remembering back to the first trailer that was released, the contents were vaguely similar, though the intensity of the underlying narrative feels like it comes through more with this latest trailer, but not enough to make it a more compelling concept than the first trailer originally felt.
