Poster Rating: B

Review: With Keri Russell’s trucker-fantasy garb gracing one half of the poster and the pies used in the trailer as dressing on the right, this poster mostly gets it right. It’s so down-home diner that even the background, a blue-white checked tablecloth, fits the bill.

Trailer Rating: B; B-

Review: Keri Russell’s a talented actress and this film looks like it will showcase her performance. However, the premise seems too much like The Good Girl to be worth watching. However, this could be the surprise hit of the summer.; The second trailer adds very little to the film except to erode the good will of the audience by making it a Mother’s Day promotional tool.

Oscar Prospects:

Like Jennifer Aniston’s film,
this film isn’t going to compete for any Oscar glory.

Release Date:

May 2, 2007

Synopsis:

It’s a charming little film that, despite its similarities to Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, works exceptionally well.
