Synopsis:

From IMDb: “Five former Special Forces operatives reunite to plan a heist in a sparsely populated multi-border zone of South America. For the first time in their prestigious careers these unsung heroes undertake this dangerous mission for self instead of country. But when events take an unexpected turn and threaten to spiral out of control, their skills, their loyalties and their morals are pushed to a breaking point in an epic battle for survival.”

Review: (#1) The background is clumsy, the foreground is forced and the balance is too precise. (#2-#7) These dull derivations on the original design are character posters with slight tweaks to color that don’t have as much impact as the designers likely wanted.

Trailer Rating: B- / B

Review: (#1 & #2) These trailers aren’t terribly dissimilar from one another, so they can be discussed in tandem. This film, intended to look like a rebuke of the government and drug cartels comes off as little more than a wannabe action adventure film, albeit one that does look modestly interesting.

Oscar Prospects:

It might have a chance at nominations in the sound categories, but not likely anywhere else.
