Review: The acting in the trailer looks a bit weak, but the premise, that of a gay couple and their surrogate who each have misgivings when the child is diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome while in the womb. There’s a potent lesson hear about desired perfection and imperfection in a fetus after it’s born, but the trailer suggests the gay couple are the bad guys in the situation, which doesn’t quite sit well, especially as it establishes them almost as periphery characters in the surrogate’s story. There are just too many questions after watching it than merit sufficient interest.
