Review: (#1) While the title and bust-insert are nicely set, the lack of background detail and the central figure aren’t that enticing.
(#2) The sky in the background is more compelling than the foreground. It looks poorly cobbled together from elements in the film, but without feeling approachable.
Trailer Rating: B+ / A-

Review: (#1) There’s a mystery at play behind this sci-fi thriller, but it never quite gets the desired exposure in the trailer. While there are some solid and compelling effects on display and George Clooney looks strong, you already have to be into these kinds of films to want to see this, which might be a missed opportunity for other audiences.
(#2) The music for this trailer embellishes the action in pleasing way, driving the audience’s emotions forward and while it doesn’t entirely reveal the mystery at the heart of the film, it does a fine job convincing the viewer that they want to find out more.
Oscar Prospects:
Netflix has a pretty full slate for this year’s Oscars. They’ll probably push this one mostly in tech categories, but George Clooney might get a campaign for Best Actor.
