Review: (#1) The visual trails don’t add much embellishment, especially with such a dull background and unexciting foreground. (#2) While it’s a shade simplistic, it works modestly well. Of course, the circular nature of the time loop they are in isn’t adequately represented, so it might be more confusing than interesting.

Review: The meta nature of the trailer, specifically referencing Groundhog Day and other time loop films, doesn’t endear it to the audience they likely need to approach. Young audiences want to see the romance. This preview partly sells itself on that element, but also seems to want to draw in an older audience who might appreciate a film about time loops. This effort certainly doesn’t thread that needle well.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
