Review: (#1) The vacant black background may bring the viewer’s attention to the snowflake dripping blood in the center, but it feels like too much space wasted for what could have been a nifty concept.

(#2) There’s a bit too much dark, blank space here, at least give us an idea that this window is actually in a house. Beyond that, there’s just not that much here.

Trailer Rating: C+ / C+

Review: (#1) There’s some measure of tension here, but it plays out like almost every other haunted house story ever made and that isn’t a thought the frequent intertitles disabuses the viewer of.

(#2) Trying to speed the action up, some of the enticement is missing. There’s a more compelling concept at play in this trailer than in the prior, but it’s so poorly executed/explained that it almost makes it sound like it’s not even what we think it could be.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
