Review: (#1) Too little background detail, but the foreground is interesting. (#2) More details than the prior design, which do embellish the same foreground image a little bit better.
(#3) The details are forced and the poster is busy, but not in a good way. It does give the film some manner of urgency, but not quite enough. (#4-#9) This series of “character” posters gives us something unique in each, but the background details are all similar enough to look tedious.
Trailer Rating: C+

Review: Fans of the Purge films and series will already be interested, though the Texan vibe and suggested immigrant narrative seem a far cry from the prior efforts, which might not engage with the core audience the way the producers expect.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
