Review: There’s nothing really going on here and the colors aren’t very appealing, nor is the image itself. How this entices viewers, I don’t know.

Review: Carey Mulligan is always interesting to watch and Ralph Fiennes accent is distinctive, thus compelling in a strange way. The trailer plays out like many other British determination features set in or around World War II and after and that’s what makes the film seem less compelling than it should be.

Oscar Prospects:

Seems like the kind of English drama that earns some buzz for Oscar consideration, but ultimately doesn’t make a dent in it.
